How the 2+2 transfer route works

In a 2+2 route you complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree at a community college, then transfer to a four-year college for the last two. Credit transfer depends on the colleges involved, so check transfer agreements before you enrol. You hold F-1 status at each school and need a new Form I-20 when you transfer.

Tuition is the published annual rate for out-of-state students (what international students are usually charged), from College Scorecard. A * marks colleges where only the in-state rate is published. Confirm current fees with the college.
