Crowder College grants Associate of Arts, Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Science, Associate of Arts in Teaching degrees, plus certificates and diplomas. Featured areas of study include agriculture, allied health, business, nursing, education, career and technical education, communications, fine arts, life sciences, and emergency services. AA graduates are admitted without examination to junior standing at all Missouri public universities and many out-of-state institutions. The college offers dual credit/dual enrollment, transfer pathways, and adult education programs.
The main campus is located in Neosho, Missouri, with additional facilities across six locations for student convenience. Campus amenities include on-campus housing, dining services, a library, bookstore, and the Longwell Museum—housed in the Elsie Plaster Community Center—which displays Fort Crowder artifacts and artwork by regional artists including Thomas Hart Benton. Students can participate in athletics (Roughriders), clubs, organizations, and volunteer opportunities. The campus features renewable energy infrastructure including a wind-powered turbine supplying the MARET Center.

Crowder has earned national distinction in renewable energy and sustainable technology. The college's solar team designed and built the first solar-powered vehicle to successfully complete a coast-to-coast US journey (1984). Since then, Crowder has competed in the World Solar Challenge, Solar Decathlon, and other international competitions, earning the Solar Decathlon 'People's Choice' award and placing 6th overall—as the only community college in that competition.
