Rose State offers comprehensive lower-division programs across five academic divisions: Business & Information Technology, Health Sciences, Liberal Arts & Sciences, STEM, and Workforce Development. The college grants Associate degrees (AA, AAS, AASAT, AS) and certificates in fields ranging from accounting and aviation management to nursing, artificial intelligence, and aerospace technology. Notable strengths include dental hygiene and dental assistant programs, which prompted construction of the Health Sciences Annex (2001). The college also operates a Tinker Air Force Base campus and provides concurrent enrollment, adult degree completion (Reach Higher), and honors programs.
The 116-acre campus includes 22 buildings and features the Communication Center (1998) with art, music, journalism, and performance spaces. Student housing, called 'The Village,' accommodates up to 180 students in apartment-style units. The college hosts a student newspaper (The 15th Street News), intramural sports, clubs, organizations, and student theatre. Athletics compete in NJCAA Division I. The Jeanie Webb Student Union and Wellness Center support student engagement. Rose State's colors are blue and gold; the Raider mascot honors Doolittle's Raiders.
Rose State maintains open-admissions policy for first-time freshmen, concurrent students, adult learners, military personnel, and international students. The college offers individual campus tours Monday–Thursday at 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM. Group tours can be arranged. Admission requirements vary by student type; testing options include ACT, CLEP, DSST, military testing, and ACCUPLACER. The Ticket to Rose program provides free tuition and mandatory fees for graduates of five local high schools.
