NCTC offers comprehensive two-year transfer degrees (AA, AS, AAT) aligned with Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board fields of study, plus Career & Technical Education programs in agriculture, business, computer IT, cosmetology, welding, and health sciences. All credit earned transfers to most Texas universities. The college provides core curriculum courses at half the cost of four-year institutions, dual credit opportunities for high school students, and online/hybrid learning options. Continuing Education offers non-credit workforce training, GED, and ESL classes.
The main Gainesville campus spans 110 acres with full-service campuses in Corinth and Bowie, plus branch locations in Denton, Flower Mound, and Graham. Campus libraries at Gainesville, Corinth, Bowie, and Flower Mound provide research support and online databases. Student services include success coaching, tutoring, advising, financial aid, food pantries, and health resources. The Lions athletic teams compete in the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NJCAA), with scholarships available in baseball, softball, volleyball, and women's tennis.
