Piedmont Community College offers 27 fields of study leading to associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Popular programs include Registered Nursing, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Medical/Clinical Assistant. The college provides a transfer program for students pursuing bachelor's degrees at four-year institutions and participates in the Career and College Promise (CCP) program, allowing high school students to earn college credentials. PCC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
The main campus in Roxboro spans 178 acres with 13 buildings including classrooms, faculty offices, Student Services, bookstore, learning resource center, child care facility, science and technology labs, welding lab, a 2,300-square-foot auditorium, and a 3,000-square-foot multi-purpose room. The Caswell County campus in Yanceyville occupies 15 acres with two buildings offering administration, labs, and classrooms. The Center for Health, Advanced Technology, and Trades (CHATT) is under construction in Timberlake with hospital simulation and advanced manufacturing equipment. A future Center for Educational and Agricultural Development (CEAD) in Pelham targets 2026 occupancy.

The Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center in uptown Roxboro offers business counseling, a Small Business Center, employability labs, and Career and College Readiness programs. Students benefit from scholarship opportunities, financial aid, payment plans, and internship opportunities.
PCC welcomes new and reapplying curriculum students through a straightforward online application process. The college serves both traditional and adult learners, with high school students eligible for dual-enrollment programs. In 2024, PCC experienced its highest enrollment growth in 10 years at 13%, reflecting strong community demand for affordable, quality education.
