Jackson State Community College offers associate degrees in arts, science, and applied science programs through four academic schools. The School of Healthcare Professions features seven programs with industry-leading first-time pass rates on national board exams. Students can participate in six athletic teams (Men's and Women's Basketball, Women's Volleyball, Men's Cross Country, Baseball, and Softball) competing at the NJCAA level. Jackson State accepts applications from first-time college students, transfer students, and readmission applicants. The college offers dual enrollment and middle college programs allowing high school students to earn college credits that transfer to Tennessee public institutions. Applications can be completed in five minutes or less online. Professional program applicants for the School of Healthcare Professions use a separate application process.
