MACC offers more than 40 areas of study with flexible program options ranging from four-month certificates to two-year associate degrees. Students can pursue single courses, certificates, or full degrees, with the flexibility to transfer to four-year institutions or enter the workforce directly. The college provides hundreds of courses across multiple delivery formats including in-person, hybrid, online, and virtual instruction at six campus locations.
The main Moberly campus spans 29 acres and features the Fitzsimmons-Johns Arena (home to men's and women's basketball), the McCormick Commons and Residential Center (built 2007), Komar Hall (administrative and science facilities, built 1993), and a fine arts wing with a 600-seat auditorium. MACC operates five physical campuses plus online/virtual options. Student life includes 40+ student organizations, intramural sports, and access to counseling, career planning, and community resources.
MACC competes in NJCAA Division I within the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference. The men's basketball team is one of junior college basketball's most storied programs with four national championships and 66 wins at the National Tournament (second all-time). Women's basketball won the 1982 national championship and has sent 58 players to NCAA Division I. The college also fields men's and women's baseball and softball teams (inaugural seasons 2023) and an esports team (inaugural 2024).
MACC maintains an open admissions policy for community college students. The application process includes submission of an admissions application, official transcripts, and prerequisite/placement verification. International students are welcome. Enrollment for Summer and Fall 2026 began April 6. The college offers dual credit programs, transfer pathways to four-year institutions, and support for first-generation students through the R1SE program.
