1. Who may use Collegepedia

You may use the platform if you can form a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are below 18, you may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

2. Accuracy of information

We aim to publish only sourced figures — fees, cutoffs, rankings, and placements carry a source and year wherever possible. However, college data changes and may contain errors or omissions. We provide information “as is” for research purposes and do not guarantee admission, fee, or placement outcomes. Always verify critical details with the institution directly before making a decision. 3. Contributed content

• You retain ownership of reviews, questions, answers, and other content you submit, and grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and moderate it on the platform.
• You confirm your contributions are truthful, your own, and do not infringe anyone’s rights.
• We may moderate, edit for clarity, or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• post false, defamatory, abusive, or unlawful content;
• impersonate any person or institution;
• scrape, copy, or redistribute platform data at scale without permission;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.

5. Intellectual property

The Collegepedia name, design, and original content are owned by us and protected by applicable law. Aggregated data is compiled from public and official sources and remains subject to the rights of its originators.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, information on the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Changes, suspension, and termination

We may update these Terms or modify the service over time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
