FVCC offers Associate of Applied Science degrees in 24 majors, Associate in Arts for substance abuse counseling, and Associate in Science for nursing. The college features specialized institutes including the Culinary Institute of Montana and Trades Institute. FVCC accepts applications on a rolling basis with no application fee. The college recommends submitting applications at least one week before semester start. New students must submit transcripts and complete placement testing in reading, writing, and mathematics. High school graduates within two years may use ACT scores for placement exemption. The college offers academic advising, tutoring, and support services at no cost to students.
