CCBC offers more than 100 associate degree programs and 300+ credit and continuing education programs across seven schools: Arts and Communication, Business/Technology/Law, Continuing Education, Health Professions, Mathematics and Science, Wellness/Education/Behavioral/Social Sciences, and Writing/Literacy/Languages. The college serves 70,000+ students with flexible delivery options including on-site, online, and hybrid courses. Each of the three main campuses hosts an Honors Program for day and evening students. The Essex campus is particularly noted for its top-rated associate nursing program in the region.
CCBC operates three main campuses in Catonsville, Dundalk, and Essex, plus three extension centers in Hunt Valley, Owings Mills, and Randallstown. Campus facilities include libraries at Catonsville, Dundalk, and Essex; the Banneker Planetarium at Catonsville; Sanbridge Early Learning Center for children up to age 12; dining services with cafes and coffee shops; bookstores partnered with Barnes & Noble; and gender-inclusive bathrooms at all locations. The Dundalk campus houses the Baltimore County police training academy and features signature gardens serving as living classrooms. Athletics, arts and culture programming, and student communities are available across all campuses.
CCBC offers open admission with multiple pathways: degree programs (100+ associate degrees), credit certificates (60+ programs), workforce training certifications (130+ programs), and high school diploma/GED programs. The college enrolls students for credit classes at multiple start dates throughout the year and offers continuing education courses on an ongoing basis. Many students may qualify for tuition-free attendance. Transfer students can bring credits from other institutions, and CCBC credits transfer to four-year schools. Admissions counselors are available to help students choose their educational path.
In 2024, 4,492 CCBC students earned degrees or certificates. The college reports that 12,800+ students reach their goals annually through degree completion, transfer to four-year institutions, or skills building. CCBC advertises $14,808 in two-year savings compared to average public universities when students complete their first two years at CCBC before transferring.
