Nashville State offers over 80 programs across four pathways: Arts & Humanities, Business & Professional Studies, Health Sciences, and Science, Technology, Engineering & Math. Students can earn technical certificates (one year), Associate of Applied Science degrees (career-focused, two years), or Associate of Arts/Science degrees (transfer-focused, two years). The college provides flexible learning through on-campus, online, hybrid, and virtual options. Notable programs include Architectural Design Technology, Healthcare Professions (nursing, surgical technology, occupational therapy), Information Technology, Music Technology, Culinary Arts, and Law Enforcement Academy.
The main White Bridge campus (120 White Bridge Rd, Nashville) spans 109 acres with 239,000 square feet of facilities including classrooms, healthcare simulation rooms, a state-of-the-art music recording studio, art gallery, library, and two auditoriums. Six additional campuses serve the broader region: Southeast (Antioch), North Davidson (Madison), East Davidson (Donelson), Humphreys County (Waverly), Dickson, and Clarksville. An Early College program operates on the White Bridge campus for high school students. The college does not conduct intercollegiate athletics.
Nashville State is an open-entry institution welcoming students of all backgrounds and ages. Six Welcome Centers across campuses provide in-person and virtual assistance with admissions, financial aid, and enrollment guidance.
