MVCC offers over 90 degree and certificate programs organized into six Academic Schools: Art, Business & Hospitality, Health Sciences, Humanities, Public & Human Services, and STEM. The college is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and maintains specialized accreditations in engineering technology, nursing, health information technology, radiological technology, respiratory care, and surgical technology. MVCC operates two campuses—the main 90-acre suburban campus in Utica and a branch in Rome. The college provides five residence halls (Daugherty, Huntington, Penfield, Butterfield, and Bellamy) housing approximately 500 students, with dining services through American Dining Creations. Students engage in over 50 clubs and organizations, including academic, cultural, religious, and honor societies. The college hosts 17 intercollegiate sports teams (Hawks) competing in the NJCAA, with facilities including the Robert R. Jorgensen Athletic and Events Center.
