Seminole State College provides one- and two-year programs of collegiate-level technical-occupational education. The college offers a variety of online, blended, evening, and eight-week courses designed to meet the demands of busy schedules. Academic divisions include Business and Education, Health Sciences, Language Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, and STEM. The Online Degree Office supports fully online degree program students from application through graduation.
The campus is located in Seminole, Oklahoma at the junction of Highway 9 W and U.S. Route 270. Students have access to housing, dining, a food pantry, bookstore, library (David L. Boren Building), tutoring and resource centers, campus activities, and student organizations. The college provides support services including student disability services, military and veteran benefits, and mental health resources through the SSC Help Center. Athletics teams compete in eight sports as members of the NJCAA.
SSC welcomes prospective students through an online application process. The college offers campus tours (both in-person and virtual), concurrent enrollment options, and comprehensive advising services. Military and veteran benefit services are available, along with financial assistance in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, and part-time employment opportunities.
The Career Center, located in the David L. Boren Library, helps students prepare for the job market and connect with employers. Services include resume and cover letter assistance, practice interviews, micro-credential programs, and career fairs. The center maintains a virtual job board and provides resources for local, state, and national job searches.
