About
Vijaya Vittala Institute of Technology (VVIT) was established under the aegis of the Sri Vijaya Vittala Charitable and Educational Trust to impart quality technical education. The college was founded by Late Prof. K. Venkatagiri Gowda, an eminent economist from the London School of Economics (LSE). Its mission is to develop technically competent professionals with ethical values, social responsibility, and leadership qualities.

VVIT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, recognized by the Government of Karnataka, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
