About
Vijaya Institute of Technology for Women (VITW) is a nonprofit organization established under the umbrella of SRK Foundation in 2008. The institution is located at Opposite 24k Marriage Hall, Enikepadu, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh-521108. Its vision is to empower women engineers with values and ethos to sustain across the globe and refine them as best intellectuals to fit in the competitive society.
History
The institution was carved out of the vision of eminent educationist and industrialist Sri B. S. Appa Rao, who desired to provide quality education to rural, semi urban and urban students. Sri B.S. Appa Rao has been actively involved in promoting professional colleges for over three decades.
Academics
The institution is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Government of Andhra Pradesh, and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. It offers 6 UG programmes with a sanctioned intake of 420 students, along with one PG programme, MBA. The institution has industry-academia collaborations through MoUs with APSSDC, EDU Skills, Infosys Spring Board, and ICT Academy.
