Two-year UW System campus in Wausau offering affordable pathways to bachelor's degrees through partnerships.
UW-Stevens Point at Wausau offers associate degrees and the Guaranteed Transfer Program, ensuring students can transfer to any four-year UW System institution upon meeting academic requirements. The campus provides collaborative dual-enrollment programs with UW-Stevens Point and UW–Oshkosh in Business Administration, General Studies, Web and Digital Media Development, and Nursing. Through "The Purple and Blue Advantage" partnership with Northcentral Technical College, students can pursue pathways in accounting, dental hygiene, health and wellness, medical lab science, nursing, paramedic studies, psychology, social work, and numerous transfer pathways to bachelor's degrees.
The five-building campus includes a main building, fieldhouse, ceramics/pottery building, art building, and Center for Civic Engagement. Students enjoy athletic facilities with a pool, weight room, open gym, and racquetball court. The campus sponsors varsity teams in golf, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. Active student organizations include InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, concert band, jazz ensemble, concert choir, vocal jazz ensembles, and student government. The student-run newspaper, The Forum, distributes over 2,500 copies monthly across the Wausau area.
The campus welcomes first-year, transfer, high school, adult, and veteran students. Merit Award Scholarships of $1,000–$3,000 are available for first-year and transfer students.
