A former UW System branch campus in Menasha that closed in 2025 after 92 years of service.
The Fox Cities Campus offered courses leading to associate degrees with emphases in 25 areas, as well as a Guaranteed Transfer Program ensuring admission to four-year UW campuses upon meeting academic requirements. Students could begin any of over 250 academic majors. The campus collaborated with other UW schools to offer bachelor's degrees.
The 41-acre urban campus housed the Barlow Planetarium, featuring a Digistar II 3-D projector, and the Weis Earth Science Museum, Wisconsin's official state mineralogical museum. The $14 million Communication Arts Center, opened in 2009, was the first LEED-certified academic building in the University of Wisconsin System.
The campus sponsored teams in women's volleyball, men's basketball, golf, tennis, and soccer as a member of the independent Wisconsin Collegiate Conference. The mascot was the Cyclone, with school colors of gold, black, and white.
On June 13, 2024, UW–Oshkosh Chancellor Andrew Leavitt announced the campus would close at the end of spring 2025 semester, citing declining enrollment and changing higher education landscape. Enrollment had dropped to 473 students in 2024, with projections showing it would fall below 100 by 2032.
