UHSP operates four colleges: College of Arts and Sciences, St. Louis College of Pharmacy, College of Global Population Health, and College of Graduate Studies. The university offers undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs, with the flagship Pharm.D. program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. Students have access to 500+ rotation sites for hands-on pharmacy practice experience, including exclusive international locations. The institution also offers master's degrees in Medicinal Chemistry and Public Health.
Located on a 9-acre urban campus in St. Louis's Central West End, UHSP provides on-campus housing and dining options. The university supports 20 intercollegiate sports through NAIA membership in the American Midwest Conference, with athletic teams known as the Eutectics. Students engage in performing arts, fitness and recreation programs, and numerous student organizations. UHSP accepts applications for undergraduate, graduate, and professional (Pharm.D.) programs. Pharmacy admissions are processed through PharmCAS. The university welcomes transfer students and international applicants, with dedicated admissions pathways for each group. The pharmacy program ranks among top institutions for residency placements with a 91% match rate. Notable alumni include Grace Beyer, an all-time top women's college basketball scorer. On February 24, 2026, UHSP announced an agreement for Washington University in St. Louis to acquire its campus and St. Louis College of Pharmacy, effective 2027. Other UHSP academic programs will conclude after the 2026–2027 academic year.
