UFTL operates three colleges offering certificates, associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. The College of Business Leadership provides business administration programs with eight concentrations including accounting, construction management, and healthcare administration, plus an MBA. The College of Religious Studies offers ministry and pastoral counseling degrees with concentrations in Christian counseling, theology, and Christian education, culminating in a Doctorate of Ministry. UFTL's athletics program launched in 2020 and joined the NCCAA Division I South in 2021–22.
