Undergraduate admission uses the Common Application with no application fee. Graduate and professional programs are administered individually by each school, many without application fees. The university also offers part-time studies through the School of Professional Advancement for working adults. International admission pathways are available.
Tulane is classified as an R1 doctoral university with very high research activity and maintains a $2.47 billion endowment (2025). The university operates 12 libraries with collections ranked among the nation's top research networks.
