Trevecca is organized into eight schools: Arts and Social Sciences, Skinner School of Business, Education, Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies, Millard Reed School of Theology and Christian Ministry, Music and Worship Arts, STEM & Health Sciences, and Graduate and Continuing Studies. The university offers 81 baccalaureate majors, 20 associate degree programs, 25 master's degrees, three doctorates (Ed.D., Ph.D. in clinical counseling, and others), and six certificate programs. Faculty are highly credentialed, with 94% holding the highest degrees in their fields. Trevecca maintains cooperative agreements with Vanderbilt University for Army ROTC, marching band participation, and a 3-2 applied physics/engineering program.
The 90+ acre campus is located 1.7 miles southeast of downtown Nashville in an urban neighborhood setting. Students come from 47 states and 39 countries, representing 28 religious affiliations. The majority of undergraduates live on campus in residence halls or apartment-style housing. Spiritual life is central to the community, with three chapel services per week (some required), 47 chapel opportunities per semester, nine campus ministries, and annual international mission trips. Student organizations include the Student Government Association, which organizes popular events like Friday Night Live and Trojan Idol, plus numerous ministry, service, and academic clubs.
Trevecca is test-preferred for traditional undergraduates, meaning students can be admitted without ACT/SAT scores, though submitting scores can increase scholarship opportunities. Every traditional undergraduate receives some form of financial aid. There is no out-of-state tuition; all students pay the same rate regardless of residency. The university accepts transfer students and offers dual enrollment options. Online and graduate admissions have separate pathways, with online programs requiring a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA and 40 prior college credits for bachelor's degree entry.
Trevecca competes in NCAA Division II as a member of the Gulf South Conference (since 2024–25). The university fields 15 intercollegiate programs (6 men's, 9 women's sports) including baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, golf, cross country, track, and STUNT. Notable achievements include the women's basketball team reaching the NAIA Championship game in 2008, the 2021 baseball team reaching the NCAA Division II College World Series, and the 2015–2016 women's volleyball team winning the GMAC Championship. The university also supports cheerleading, ultimate, and 12 intramural sports.
