Three Rivers College provides accessible and affordable degrees, certificates, and career programs designed for transfer or direct employment. The college offers 57 career programs and 38 transfer pathways, with specialized training in fields including nursing, welding, commercial driving, and OSHA certification. All dual credit and transfer courses align with Missouri's CORE 42 guarantee, ensuring seamless credit transfer to public universities. The college employs over 100 instructors and support staff across its multiple locations.
The main Poplar Bluff campus spans 80 acres and features learning technology-equipped classrooms, a library, career center, and Tinnin Fine Arts Center. Three Rivers operates full-service locations in Dexter, Kennett, and Sikeston, plus in-district sites in Doniphan, Caruthersville, Piedmont, Portageville, New Madrid, and Van Buren. Students have access to the Bess Activity Center, clubs and organizations, disability services, and housing options. The college participates in the Cape College Center alongside Mineral Area College and Southeast Missouri State University.
Three Rivers welcomes high school graduates, homeschoolers, active duty military, veterans, and working adults. Dual credit students in grades 10–12 with a 3.0+ GPA are automatically eligible; those with 2.5–2.99 GPA need principal recommendation and parental permission. Dual credit tuition is $66 per credit hour, including textbooks. General admissions requires completion of an application; transfer students can have credits evaluated through the college's transfer policies and CORE 42 alignment.
Three Rivers awarded $14 million in financial aid to students and reports 100% of students recommend the college to others. The nursing program achieved a 100% pass rate on licensure and certification exams. Career programs are designed for employment within two years or less, with instructors possessing real-world industry experience. The college offers comprehensive support through academic advising, tutoring, testing services, career services, and a Career and Transfer Center to help students succeed.
