Academics
Thiagarajar College offers a comprehensive range of 56 academic programs spanning undergraduate, postgraduate, M.Phil, and Ph.D. levels, complemented by diploma and certificate courses. Research & Innovation

It received a Rs. 2.00 crore grant from MHRD for a National Centre of Excellence in Bio-resource Management (2014-16). The institution publishes 300+ research papers annually and maintains memberships in UGC-NLIST and CII Cluster colleges. Campus & Infrastructure

Admissions
The college conducts online admissions for 2026-2027 across undergraduate (aided and self-financed), postgraduate (aided and self-financed), and MBA programs. Prospectuses and application instructions are available in English and Tamil. Scholarship applications are processed separately for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Self-financed program applicants must pay an application fee per program.
Placements & Outcomes
The college achieves an 80% placement rate with partnerships from leading global recruiters including TCS, Zoho, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Capgemini, IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, and Deloitte. The Placement Cell provides career guidance and maintains a dedicated placement policy. The institution has produced 18,874 alumni across a global network.
