Sundance College is a Canadian-based and headquartered institution. Its founding mission has been to "Support Student Success." The college's values include Respect, Diversity, Equity, Integrity, and Personal growth.
Sundance College's journey began in Calgary in the mid-2010s, when a group of professionals representing over 100 years of education-sector experience came together to establish it. The college has since grown to be one of the largest colleges in its category, supporting students on campus and online across 12 provinces and territories in Canada.
Sundance College instituted a mastery-based learning educational philosophy. Students focus on one course at a time rather than splitting attention among multiple courses. Programs can be completed in 6 to 16 months, and up to 50% of eligible credits from accredited institutions may be applied to a Sundance program. The college is licensed by provincial education ministries, which also approve its programs.
Sundance College has a Calgary campus at G-128 28 Street SE, Calgary, AB T2A 6J9, and also has campuses in Edmonton, Winnipeg and Victoria. The college lists specialized labs, campus transportation access, and student laptops among its facilities.
Sundance College offers several admission routes, including high school diploma (general admission), mature student, and career assessment based admission. The Sundance Student Guarantee means students who leave during the first week will not be charged tuition for that week.
