Academics
SJCC offers 14 programs spanning undergraduate (B.Com, BBA, B.A, B.Sc) and postgraduate (M.Com, PGD) levels, with professional programs also available. The college implements Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and follows the National Education Policy (NEP). Academic innovations include SWAYAM-NPTEL local chapter, Centre for Digital Learning and Education, bridge courses, industrial visits, and open electives. The college maintains a strong research focus with a recognized research centre by Bengaluru City University (2011) and supports PhD scholars across multiple disciplines.
Campus & Infrastructure
Located at 163 Brigade Road, Bengaluru, the campus features a Library & Information Centre, Computer Centre, AV Room, Auditorium, Cafeteria, Conference Hall, Board Room, ICT-enabled classrooms, online content development facilities, and an ERP Room. The college maintains a boys' hostel and is designated as a differently-abled friendly campus with gender sensitivity initiatives. Green campus initiatives and sports facilities are integral to campus life.
Research & Innovation
The college operates a recognized research centre with research guides, PhD scholars, and completed/ongoing research projects. It publishes the SJCC MRR Journal and supports faculty publications and authored books. An Innovation and Incubation Centre (IIC) provides facilities and mentorship for student entrepreneurs. The college has established research promotion and seed money policies to encourage scholarly activity.
Student Support & Placements
SJCC provides comprehensive student support including anti-ragging measures, counselling, mentorship programs, equal opportunity centre, mid-day meal scheme, and scholarships. The college conducts on-campus and off-campus recruitment, internships, training programs, and guest lectures. Student activities include a student council, various associations, and TEDxSJCC events. A student grievance redressal committee (SGRC) addresses concerns.
