Academics
SKACAS offers 20 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across Commerce, Computer Science, Management, and Arts & Science streams, along with 4 research programmes (M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Mathematics, Commerce, Computer Science, and English). The institution employs innovative pedagogy with high-end ICT-enabled classrooms, Google Sites for course content delivery, Google Classroom, and MyKlassroom integration. Faculty includes 67 Ph.D. holders, 78 pursuing Ph.D., and 28 NET/SET qualified educators. Professional courses in CSEET, CA, CMA, and competitive exam coaching (TNPSC, UPSC, NET/SLET) are also available.
Campus & Infrastructure
The 6-acre campus is situated at the foothills of Western Ghats with world-class infrastructure designed by renowned architects. Facilities include smart classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, fully digital library, massive auditorium, open-air theatre, Adithya Tri-square, gym, food court, yoga and health center. Separate hostels for boys and girls offer Wi-Fi-enabled rooms with hygienic dining. College buses serve all parts of the city. The campus features extensive vegetation with 10,000 saplings planted and a medicinal plant garden.
Admissions
Admission is completely merit-based with strict adherence to government reservation policies. Online applications open in February each academic year, with students receiving unique registration IDs. Merit lists are prepared and call letters sent based on available seats. The admission committee counsels students and parents on internal/external evaluation systems, code of conduct, opportunities, and course prospects. Multiple rounds of admission are conducted to fill remaining seats. Special consideration is provided for 'Divyang' category admissions with infrastructural support.
Placements & Outcomes
The institution focuses on 100% placement achievement through continuous training spread across the academic year. Training modules cover verbal communication, aptitude problem-solving, and industry-specific skills. For 2025-2026, 35+ companies have visited for placements with 70% placement rate as of the reporting date. The institution emphasizes enriching student skill sets and conceptual understanding to meet competitive business landscape demands.
Research & Innovation
The college maintains active research output with faculty publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international conferences. Research areas include cybersecurity, image processing, IoT, big data analytics, and cloud computing.
