Southern Seminary offers rigorous graduate and undergraduate theological education across three schools. The Billy Graham School, established in 1994, is the largest Great Commission school globally, dedicated to training missionaries and evangelists. Boyce College provides undergraduate education grounded in biblical worldview. The 100-acre suburban campus, designed by the Frederick Law Olmsted firm, is located in the Crescent Hill neighborhood east of downtown Louisville. The campus features 10 academic and residential buildings in Georgian architecture and three housing villages for married students. Student life includes housing, dining, a health and recreation center, campus clinic, chapel services, library, and bookstore. The seminary maintains active student engagement through events, clubs, and community involvement. In 1951, President Duke McCall integrated the campus in defiance of Kentucky segregation laws, and the seminary later hosted civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. in 1961.
