The college's 246-acre main campus is located on Chadbourn Highway between Whiteville and Chadbourn in southeastern North Carolina, approximately one hour from Wilmington and Fayetteville. The college also operates a Fair Bluff campus housing the Columbus Career and College Academy, which allows high school students to begin their education at the college and choose between technical or college-based pathways after 9th grade. The college's athletic teams are known as the Rams.
Southeastern Community College operates a small business center in Brunswick, NC that serves businesses and entrepreneurs across Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, and Robeson counties.
