Southeastern College awards diplomas, associate degrees, and bachelor's degrees. The institution offers 10 diploma programs, eight associate degrees, and one bachelor's degree (Bachelor of Science in Nursing, launched in 2020). A majority of academic programs focus on allied health, with recent expansion into business and technology. The college is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and holds programmatic accreditations from ABHES, CAAHEP, ACEN, and ASHSP for specialized health and nursing programs.
Southeastern College operates five campuses across Florida and the Carolinas: Miami Lakes and Boynton Beach in Florida, and Charlotte, Columbia, and North Charleston in South Carolina. The institution serves over 1,000 undergraduate students with a faculty of 65 academic staff and 55 administrative staff. The college was recognized as a South Florida Sun Sentinel Top Workplace in 2020.
Founded in 1988 as Cruise Career Training Institute with a focus on travel industry careers, the college expanded in 1997 to include business, computer science, and allied health programs. Following several name changes, it became Southeastern College in 2012. In 2018, the institution was named School of the Year by the Florida Association of Post-Secondary Schools and Colleges (FAPSC), and multiple campus presidents have received FAPSC Administrator of the Year awards.
