S.J.C. Institute of Technology is a technical education institute established in 1986. Its stated vision is preparing competent engineering and management professionals to serve the society. The college is located at P.B. No. 20, B.B. Road, Chickballapur, Karnataka 562101, on Bangalore–Hyderabad National Highway NH7, 45 km from Bangalore city. History
The institute is managed by Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust (R.), which was founded in 1974. His Holiness Jagadguru Padmabhushana Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji is listed as Founder President.
Academics
SJCIT is an autonomous institution under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. Undergraduate courses include Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering. The institution is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
