SIMS is a group of institutions based in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. It began with a modest beginning in 1978 and later grew into a group of institutions. The group includes SIMS College of Pharmacy, SIMS College of Nursing, SIMS College of Physiotherapy, SIMS College of Education, KSIMS College of Physiotherapy, SIMS College of Life Sciences, Aswini College of Nursing and Swamy School of Nursing.
SIMS was established in Guntur 40 years ago and is one of the oldest professional institutions in Andhra Pradesh. The founder, Late Ln. B.R. Prasad, started SIMS Nursing Institute and expanded it into a reputed educational institution. SIMS Educational Institutions continue to carry forward his vision of imparting quality education to all aspiring students.
SIMS offers high quality courses in Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Medical Lab Technology, Biotechnology and allied health services, taught by leading academicians. The college has well-established reputation for high quality teaching and student support at every level. Strong linkages with corporate hospitals, health agencies and industry expose students to the practical world. In most courses, 80-100% of students pass out with flying colors and 60-80% obtain employment through various means.
