Sh'or Yoshuv provides organized shiurim (lectures) and chaburos (peer study groups) structured around traditional sedarim (morning, afternoon, and evening study sessions). The yeshiva accommodates students who work or attend college in the afternoon. A semicha (rabbinical ordination) program under Rabbi Eliyahu Schneider began awarding ordinations in 2006–2007. The institution also offers a Bachelor of Talmudic Law degree and operates a Kollel Mekor Boruch for advanced learners, plus an Introductory Program for those with minimal Jewish education.
The yeshiva is located at One Cedarlawn Avenue in Lawrence, New York, and features a large Bais Medrash (study hall), classrooms, English and Hebrew libraries, a gymnasium, and dormitory accommodations. The student body comprises individuals aged 17 and older from the surrounding community and locations worldwide. The institution is headed by Rabbi Naftali Jaeger as Rosh Yeshiva and serves over 600 families through community programs including women's shiurim, businessmen's morning kollels, and outreach initiatives.
The yeshiva accepts students from age 17 and older with diverse educational backgrounds. Applicants must submit a yeshiva application form, transcripts, and pay application and registration fees.
