Academics
Seth GSMC offers comprehensive medical education across undergraduate, postgraduate, and superspecialty levels. The institution trains approximately 2,000 students annually in MBBS, MD/MS/Diploma, DM/MCh superspecialty courses, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPTh), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOTh), Master of Physiotherapy (MPTh), Master of Occupational Therapy (MOTh), PG Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (PG-DMLT), B.Sc. Paramedical Technology (B.Sc. PMT), and PhD programs in various allied specialties. A nursing school is also maintained by the institution. The 1,800-bed King Edward Memorial Hospital is one of India's largest teaching hospitals. It operates across multiple buildings including the Main Hospital Building, MS Building, New Building, CVTC Building, and specialized centers. The hospital houses 24+ clinical departments and superspecialty units including Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Plastic Surgery, and many others. Advanced facilities include ICUs (MICU, SICU), operation theaters, diagnostic imaging, and specialized treatment centers.
