Academics

The College of Business offers eight undergraduate majors: Accounting, Finance, International Business, Business Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Cybersecurity, and Entertainment, Events and Sports Management. The college also provides nine certificates including Accounting Information Systems, Big Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainable Business Strategy. Graduate programs include Master of Accountancy, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Science in Business Analytics. UM's accounting programs rank among the nation's top 25, with the undergraduate program ranked No. 12 nationally and the graduate program No. 14 among institutions with fewer than 16 accounting faculty members.

Experiential Learning & Career Development

The college emphasizes applied, experiential education through hands-on business projects and professional networking. Over 100 business professionals visit the Gallagher Business Building annually to lecture and recruit students. The Gianchetta Student Success Center provides internship coordination, career services, advising, and mentorship. Study abroad opportunities and student organizations connect learners with peers and global perspectives. The college maintains partnerships with the American Indian Business Leaders, Bureau of Business and Economic Research, and Montana World Trade Center.

Campus & Student Life

Located in the Gallagher Business Building at 32 Campus Drive, Missoula, the college serves students within the broader University of Montana community.
