Sacred Heart College offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, and Communication disciplines. UG students complete three years with English, an additional language, a main subject, and two complementary subjects, earning degrees (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.) from Mahatma Gandhi University. PG students focus exclusively on their chosen subject over two years, receiving M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. degrees. All courses operate under a choice-based credit and semester system. The college houses 21+ departments including specialized programs in Aquaculture, Computer Science, Animation, Cinema and Television, Journalism, and Design.
Campus & Infrastructure
The college operates three distinctive campuses: the Main Campus (historic center of tradition and innovation), Lakeview Campus, and the East Campus (focused on frontier academic disciplines). Facilities include the Chavara I.T. Centre, College Library, Fr. Theobald Digital Studio, Fr. Gabriel Zoology Museum, Physics Lab, Computer Labs, Hatchery Complex, Platinum Piaaza Indoor Stadium, Lakeview Ground, Basketball Court, Open Gym, and multiple halls. The campus is eco-friendly and scenic, with hostels for both girls and boys, ATM, cooperative society, reprographic center, and college bus services.
Admissions
Admissions for 2026-27 include UG (Honours) and PG programs through online applications. The college offers separate pathways for general quota and management quota admissions. UG programs include BA/BSc/BCom honours across multiple disciplines. PG programs in Communication (Journalism, Cinema and Television, Digital Animation, Graphic Design) require aptitude tests and interviews.
