About
The college was established in 1966 by the Goa Education Society under the Chairmanship of Shri. Vasantrao S. Dempo. It is presently managed by the Dempo Charities Trust, Panaji, and is a private, non-profit institution. The college is located at Cujira, St. Cruz-Tiswadi-Goa 403202, and its Principal is Prof. (Dr.) Manoj S. Kamat.
Mission
The college aims to produce educated men and women with domain knowledge, professional competence and moral character, to work in trade, commerce, finance and industry. Its vision is to be a premier institution for commerce education, transforming individuals for a better society. One of its mission goals is to institutionalise research, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Academics
The college is affiliated to Goa University and offers Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor in Business Administration programmes, each of three years. It also offers an Integrated Master of Commerce programme of 3+2 years and a two-year Master of Commerce (M.Com) programme. The college has established an Institutional Innovation Council, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell and Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat Cell.
Campus & Facilities
Listed campus facilities include classrooms, a library with Wi-Fi connectivity and reprography, computer laboratories, an auditorium, an audio-visual room, sports and gymnasium facilities, a canteen, a medical room, and a counselling room. The college has established the Dempo Centre for Skill Development, offering short-term courses in line with the national Skilling India mission.
Admissions
Undergraduate admission is conducted online through the DHE Goa portal and is merit-based, using SSC and HSSC academic records.
