History
The Veerasaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha is a registered education body started in 1916. Sri. Rao Bahadur Y. Mahabaleswarappa was born on 3rd June 1906 at Yemmiganur, Ballari. In 2019, the Department of IT BT, Government of Karnataka started the New Age Innovation Network Center at the college to build a startup and business ecosystem in and around Ballari.
Academics
The college offers undergraduate programs in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Postgraduate programs include Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Applications, and M.Tech programs in Computer Science & Engineering, Production Management, VLSI Design & Embedded Systems, and Structural Engineering. The college aims to bridge the gap between industry requirements and academic orientation by grooming students in theoretical and practical aspects.
