RTC Institute of Technology was established in 2008 by GAV SAMITI, a trust founded in 1976 that works in the field of education. The institute is privately owned and is located at Anandi, Ormanjhi, Ranchi, Jharkhand-835219. The GAV SAMITI trust runs 23 schools, intermediate, degree and B.Ed. colleges across Jharkhand. Sri Ram Tahal Choudhary, the honourable chairman of the trust, is the founder of RTC Institute of Technology.

The institute aims to become a pioneer technical institution offering various B.Tech and Diploma courses. Its vision is to develop an educational institute of national repute. Academics
