RCC offers diverse academic pathways including university transfer programs (Associate in Arts and Associate in Science), health sciences (nursing, emergency medical services, radiography, respiratory therapy, surgical technology), business technologies (accounting, business administration, information technology), industrial technology (HVAC, electrical systems, mechatronics, welding), and public service programs (law enforcement, culinary arts, cosmetology). The college also provides Career and College Promise (CCP) dual enrollment for high school students, adult education, ESL, and online learning options.
The main campus is located at 5160 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, conveniently situated off I-95 at Exit 22. The college operates multiple satellite locations including COMTech Site in Pembroke, A.S. Thomas Center, Emergency Training Grounds, Maxton Site, and Green Grove Site in Fairmont. The main campus comprises 188,662 square feet of facilities with over $2 million in equipment. An Emergency Services Training Center, dedicated in 1997, supports law enforcement, rescue, and firefighting disciplines.
Admission requires completion of residency determination through the RDS (Residency Determination Service) to obtain an RCN before submitting an application. Prospective students must determine their program of study, complete the online RCC application, and submit official transcripts from high school, GED, or college. The college offers support through admissions counselors and new student orientation programs.
RCC provides comprehensive student services including counseling and career services, The SOAR Center, disability services, financial aid, scholarships, veterans affairs support, and TimelyCare virtual health services. The college operates a food pantry for students in need and offers tutoring, apprenticeships, and job placement assistance through College Central Network.
