Academics
Ramanujan College offers multiple undergraduate honours courses across diverse disciplines, with curriculum aligned to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The college operates 17 specialized Centres and Cells focused on areas including Applied Mathematics, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Human Rights Studies, and Entrepreneurship. The college also hosts the Malviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP) Centre, which provides professional development for educators through innovative teaching methodologies and digital tools.
Campus & Infrastructure
The college features a state-of-the-art building with clean and green campus design. Facilities include ICT-enabled smart classrooms with projectors, a fully automated library with air-conditioned reading rooms, multiple computer labs, specialized labs for Robotics, Psychology, and Accounting & Finance, language and media labs, multipurpose seminar halls, and Wi-Fi connectivity throughout. The campus incorporates sustainable infrastructure including solar panels, water harvesting plants, and sewage treatment systems with uninterrupted electricity and water supply.
Student Life & Support
The college hosts 15 student societies including the National Service Scheme (NSS), National Cadet Corps (NCC), debating, theatre, music, dance, and film-making societies. Additional facilities include an indoor gymnasium-cum-sports room, fully equipped medical room, faculty reading lounge, canteen, and activity room. The college maintains a dedicated Placement and Career Development Cell that organizes internships, webinars, workshops, personality development programs, and guest lectures to prepare students for professional careers.
Placements & Career Development
The Placement Cell operates year-round with five specialized departments: Research (corporate relationships), Notice (documentation), Graphics (social media), Data Management (company and alumni data), and Outreach & Marketing (awareness and events). The cell attracts recruiters from prominent corporate entities and provides comprehensive support including in-house training, projects, and internships. Students benefit from exposure to diverse industries and professional mentorship to develop critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
