About

Rajdhani College was established in 1964 by the Delhi Administration in Kirti Nagar, New Delhi, under the name Government College. It was later renamed Rajdhani College when the Delhi administration vested its governance in an autonomous Governing Body. The college is a constituent college of the University of Delhi and is accredited by NAAC. Its address is Mahatma Gandhi Marg, Raja Garden, New Delhi - 110015.

Academics

The college offers courses in Commerce, Humanities and Social Science, and Science streams. Postgraduate courses are offered in English, Hindi, History and Commerce. The institutional motto is Tejaswi Naav Adhiitam Astu, meaning 'May our study be enlightening.' The college aims to produce responsible citizens, inculcate ethical principles and contribute to national progress. Analysis, innovation and research are encouraged among faculty and students.

Campus & Facilities

A college building was constructed in 1976-77 and inaugurated by then President of India Sh. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed. The complex includes an air-conditioned Auditorium and an air-conditioned Seminar/Conference Room. The library offers computer and internet facilities and access to more than one lakh scholarly books and ebooks. A Robotics laboratory in collaboration with e-Yantra IIT Bombay was formally inaugurated on 16th January 2015.

Admissions

Undergraduate admission is through CUET-UG via CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) and merit-based cut-off allocation under the University of Delhi schedule. Postgraduate admission is through CUET (PG).
