Pierpont offers more than 40 associate degree programs, certificates, and advanced skill sets designed for practical, hands-on careers. The college specializes in preparing students in two years or less for employment in high-demand fields including IT/CyberSecurity, Petroleum Technology, Power Plant Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Electrical Utility Technology, Health Information Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Respiratory Care. The college also operates the Robert C. Byrd National Aerospace Education Center in Bridgeport, offering flight and aviation maintenance programs. Online programs and dual enrollment options are available.
The main campus is the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) at the I-79 Technology Park in Fairmont, a 55,000+ square foot facility that opened in October 2016. Pierpont operates multiple satellite locations across 13 counties in North Central West Virginia, including centers in Flatwoods, Weston, Bridgeport, and Clarksburg. The urban campus spans 120 acres. Student support services include counseling, disability services, tutoring, career counseling, and BetterMynd online therapy. The college mascot is Montgomery the Lion, with school colors of black and gold.
