Peninsula College offers Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degrees in Management and Behavioral Health as four-year programs for students with associate degrees. The college also awards three transfer-focused associate degrees (Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Business Education), as well as Associate in Applied Science degrees and professional-technical certificates. The Associate of Arts degree is among the highest-enrolled programs. The college provides distance education and online learning options alongside traditional classroom instruction.
The main Port Angeles campus spans 75 acres and includes Maier Hall (62,950 sq ft), Keegan Hall Science and Technology Building (56,000 sq ft), and the Allied Health and Early Childhood Development Center (41,650 sq ft, opened 2017). The campus features a 26,680-square-foot library, computer labs, gymnasium, fitness center, student union (PUB), and the historic Peninsula College Longhouse—a collaboration with six local tribes. Additional locations serve Forks (57 miles west) and East Jefferson County (Port Townsend and Port Hadlock).
During 2021–2022, the student body was 62% female, with a median age of 25 and 35% students of color. As an open-access institution, the college admits high school graduates and equivalent applicants. Peninsula College competes in the NWAC, fielding men's and women's teams in soccer and basketball. The Pirates have won numerous NWAC and Division championships, including women's soccer titles in 2011–2023 and men's soccer championships spanning 2007–2023.
Peninsula College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) to award associate and applied baccalaureate degrees. The college's service district encompasses Clallam and Jefferson Counties, extending from Neah Bay on the Pacific Ocean to Brinnon on Hood Canal. It is part of the Washington Community and Technical Colleges system and is approved by the Veterans Administration.
