Northeastern Baptist College offers a rigorous, Bible-centered curriculum across three degree levels. Associate degrees are available in Biblical Studies, Business Administration, Christian Education, and General Studies. Bachelor's degrees include Biblical Studies (with specializations in Church Planting and Pastoral Ministry), Business Administration, Christian Counseling, Christian Education, and Intercultural Studies. The college also offers Master's degrees in Applied Theology, Advanced Applied Theology, and Biblical Exegesis. All programs integrate academic excellence with practical mentorship and a Christian worldview, following New England's academic tradition while emphasizing biblical foundation and real-world application.
The main campus occupies the third and fourth floors of a former Ramada Inn in downtown Bennington, featuring academic classrooms, faculty offices, study areas, and a chapel auditorium. The Charles & Pauline Hogue Library, located on Main Street about a mile away, is the largest Christian library in Vermont and New Hampshire and houses the Hebrews Cafe. Student housing at Jehovah Jireh Hall, located a block from the library, accommodates approximately 40 students. Campus life includes chapel services, student government, spiritual growth programs, and community engagement through ministry practicums.
NEBC maintains a straightforward admissions process with no application fees or standardized test requirements. Applicants must submit high school and college transcripts (if applicable), two references (personal and academic/employer), a pastor and church recommendation, a life goal essay, and a salvation testimony. Applicants must also agree with NEBC's Standards of Conduct and Baptist Faith & Message. Priority enrollment consideration is given to applications submitted before July 1 (fall semester) or December 1 (spring semester), though rolling admissions continue year-round. The college also offers an Early Scholars Program for high school juniors and seniors seeking dual enrollment at reduced cost.
Central to NEBC's mission is making college affordable and enabling graduates to graduate debt-free. The college offers work-study programs and flexible course options including J-term, summer, and evening classes. Non-degree seeking students can audit courses for $50 each or take up to four courses for credit at $250 per course. Academic support includes a Writing Center with in-person and online consultations, academic advisement, and a comprehensive library with theological journals and research databases.
