NCCC offers innovative programs across general education, healthcare, technical trades, and business disciplines. The Chanute campus features two residence halls with traditional, suite-style, and on-campus house living options, designed primarily for full-time traditional students. The Ottawa campus, opened in 1991 and relocated to a 52,000 square-foot facility in 2011, serves part-time and nontraditional students without on-campus housing. Both campuses offer 22 clubs and organizations, free tutoring, 24/7 computer centers, game and movie rooms, and Wi-Fi internet. The Mitchell Career and Technology Center, opened in 2021, houses six technical education programs with state-of-the-art equipment including simulated hospitals and 3-D printers.
NCCC welcomes both domestic and international students through online applications. The college offers campus tours Monday–Friday (10 AM–3 PM) at both locations, with summer hours adjusted accordingly. Virtual tours are available online.
