Nehru College of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) program spanning 4 years including internship, commencing in August/September annually. The curriculum is designed to provide strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills in nursing, with instruction conducted entirely in English. Students gain hands-on experience in healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. The college follows regulations and syllabi aligned with Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Admission is restricted to female candidates only, with preference given to single women or widows without encumbrance. Applicants must be minimum 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year and possess a 12-year schooling qualification (10+2 or equivalent) with science focus (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English proficiency. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required; SC/ST candidates require 45%. Medical fitness certification is mandatory. The application fee is Rs 600, and hostel accommodation is compulsory for all admitted students.
The college is located at SF.No.440/2B, Enamkulathur, on the Trichy-Dindigul highway. Facilities include well-furnished hostel accommodation with round-the-clock security, hygienic and nutritious meals (vegetarian and non-vegetarian options), mineral RO water purification systems, laboratory facilities, transportation services, dining facilities, and a library.
