About
The institute was established in 1938 by Vaidya Sundarlal Joshi, inspired by Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. It was earlier a grant-in-aid institute. In 2007, its managing organization, the Mahagujarat Medical Society (MMS), made it self-financed. The college is affiliated to Maganbhai Adenwala Mahagujarat University.
Academics
The college offers undergraduate B.A.M.S degree subjects, postgraduate Ayurved Vachaspati, and PhD Ayurveda Varidhi programs.
