About
M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) is a private, self-financed technical education institution. It was born in 1962 under the aegis of Gokula Education Foundation (Engineering), founded by Dr. M.S. Ramaiah. Today eighteen institutions, including MSRIT, operate under the foundation's umbrella.
Academics
The college offers undergraduate B.E. and B.Arch programmes, as well as MBA and MCA programmes. All of its academic departments are accredited by NBA under the new process. A proctorial system, introduced to provide supportive care and counsel for academic and personal problems, assigns each proctor around 20 to 25 students. The institution's stated values include quality and excellence, research and innovation, freedom of expression, and ethics in engineering.

The college describes its infrastructure as among the best and most advanced among private colleges in India. It has a fully functional student counseling facility on campus for mental wellbeing.
