Missoula College offers 35 career, transfer, and technical programs through five departments: Applied Arts and Sciences, Applied Computing and Engineering Technology, Business Technology, Health Professions, and Industrial Technology. Students can earn Associate of Applied Science degrees, Associate of Arts degrees, and certificates in fields ranging from nursing and radiologic technology to welding, heavy equipment operation, and culinary arts. The college also provides a Bachelor of Applied Science degree pathway for students who complete an Associate of Applied Science degree.
The college operates two distinct campuses totaling 200.4 acres. The River Campus houses a library, culinary program with student-run café, health sciences facilities with cadaver labs, and administrative offices. The West Campus, adjacent to Fort Missoula Park, focuses on industrial technology with space for student-built modular homes and heavy equipment testing. As a University of Montana unit, students access the same services and expectations as main campus students, including dining at multiple campus cafeterias.

Missoula College is the only higher education institution in Montana designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense.
