Miranda House offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs across multiple disciplines. The college is designated as a DBT Star College and hosts several research centers and special laboratories. Campus & Infrastructure
The college is located in the heart of the University of Delhi campus, providing unique advantages through close interaction with university departments and other campus colleges. The campus features a library, hostel facilities, advanced laboratories, and dedicated centers for research and extracurricular activities. A garden committee maintains the campus grounds. The college offers on-campus hostel accommodation for eligible outstation undergraduate students, with merit-based seat allocation and online fee payment systems.
Admissions & Student Life
Admission to Miranda House follows University of Delhi procedures. Only outstation undergraduate students are eligible for hostel accommodation; students from Delhi NCR (Delhi, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad) are not eligible. The college maintains active placement services through its Placement Cell, which bridges student aspirations with employer requirements. Student life includes diverse cultural activities, societies, events, and outreach initiatives promoting community engagement and social entrepreneurship.
Accreditation & Recognition
Miranda House holds NAAC accreditation with Grade A++ in its second cycle (upgraded from A+ in the first cycle). The college ranks #2 nationally in the NIRF college rankings.
